Your timely participation also means that your facility will be considered for LCA's most prestigious awards.

SAFE stands for Serious About Fostering Excellence and the SAFE Awards recognize plants which have demonstrated their commitment to that principle last year in 2022.

Your application should be approved by the highest level manager at your site. To be eligible, this form must be submitted no later than Friday, Steptember 22nd.

Numerical permit limit exceedences include any and all hourly, daily, or annual mass or concentration limits in an air or water permit for your facility. Supply physical counts of all events in the calendar year rather than number of exceedance reports generated. Your count must cover all (site-wide) air and water permits collectively for your facility. Examples include exceedances of maximum hourly (lb/hr) air emission limits, annual (tpy) air emission limits, and maximum daily (lb/day) water discharge limits.
